War is coming.

The humanity became uneasy with the discovery of the aliens and tried to enforce a curfew. That failed already with the survival of an archaic settlement ship (Adam's) apparently trying to contact the aliens.

But more important because closer, the humanity now dwelling on Mars was totally unaware of the sneaky little plans of the robots, who had maintained for millennia an efficient embargo around the Earth and Moon. Quietly on their own since they had wiped out the human base on the moon, the robots had gone confident in themselves. Their attempt at creating a superior race of slaves had dramatically failed in the sad collective suicide of the octopus people. But robots were unabated and still despised humans.

The recent arrival of the two foolish professors bringing on the news of approaching aliens was perceived as a blessing by the extremist robots.

War indeed was coming
